Your wedding photos are not just for today.
They’re for the life you’re building after this.
For the home they’ll hang in.
For the stories you’ll tell at dinner parties years from now.
For the way you’ll want to remember yourselves — in love, magnetic and unfiltered.
The framed portrait is important. It marks the occasion.
But the images that grow in meaning over time are rarely the loudest ones. They’re the subtle exchanges. The way the light wrapped around you while you weren’t paying attention. The way your people gathered close without being asked.
Exceptional photography preserves the atmosphere, not just the event.
STYLE
Editorial in composition.
Honest in feeling.
Guided by light, movement, and human connection, I create imagery that feels composed without being staged. The result is work that holds its aesthetic — and its emotion — at the same time.
EXPERIENCE
A steady presence from start to finish.
From our first consultation to your final gallery, the process is clear and thoughtful. You’ll have timeline guidance, space to ask questions, and a photographer who knows how to move through a wedding day without adding noise. The goal is simple: you get to be fully present.
Who this is for
For couples who care about how it looks - and how it feels.
The ones hosting oceanfront ceremonies, backyard celebrations, weekend getaways - and filling them with the people who matter most. Who want beautiful portraits, yes, but also want the real moments documented without interruption.
“IT FELT LIKE HAVING A friend THERE.”
From start to finish, Chelsea made everyone feel completely at ease. Nothing felt awkward or forced — just natural, enjoyable, and seamless. She brought our vision to life in a way that exceeded our expectations, and we’re endlessly grateful for the way she preserved our memories.
— Victoria, 2025 Bride
We begin with a conversation and thoughtful planning. You’ll receive timeline guidance and my Wedding Guide so the photography feels seamless long before the day arrives.
I arrive prepared and attentive. I’ll guide when needed, step back when it matters, and document the day as it naturally unfolds: composed, honest, and unforced.
A curated preview lands within the week. Your full gallery follows, carefully edited and delivered in a private online space designed for sharing, printing, and keeping.
The Sunshine Coast is home - the ocean, the cliffs, the quiet coves, the lodge weekends. I know how light moves here. I know the ferry schedules, the backup plans, the hidden corners.
But I also travel throughout British Columbia and beyond. Whether you’re planning a West Coast Wilderness Lodge celebration, a vineyard weekend in the Okanagan, or an intimate destination wedding further afield, I approach it the same way - prepared, attentive, and focused on the atmosphere you’re creating.
Travel is quoted transparently and simply. No inflated mystery fees. Just thoughtful planning so everything feels easy.

Chelsea is easy to get along with, down to earth, and incredibly thoughtful. She guided us through timelines, checked in often, and even scoped out our venue ahead of time to plan for the best light. Our sneak peeks arrived quickly, communication was seamless, and our final gallery is absolutely stunning. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. — Robyn & Alexander

Most couples book 8–18 months in advance, especially for peak summer dates on the Sunshine Coast. If you’re considering working together, I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your venue secured.
Absolutely. If there are meaningful people, traditions, or details you want prioritized, we’ll discuss them in advance.
That said, the strongest galleries happen when there’s space for real moments to unfold naturally. I’ll always capture the essentials — and often the moments you didn’t know you’d want yet.
Every image you receive is professionally edited for color, tone, and consistency. Minor refinements are included where appropriate.
I don’t believe in heavy or unrealistic retouching. The goal is for you to look like yourselves — at your best — not altered beyond recognition.
