Weddings, Elopements & Sessions
My influences are editorial, my instincts are documentary, and somewhere in between the work turns cinematic. Human emotion is what pulls me in: connection, the way people hold each other, good light landing where it should. I pay attention to what's actually happening, then make something beautiful out of it, my interpretation of a day worth keeping.
The photos should feel like the day, not just look like it.

From waterfront lodges to backyard tents strung with lights, I photograph full wedding days in this wild corner of BC: the guests, the speeches, the dance floor, all of it.
Each one gets my editorial eye and documentary heart, and images built from the day as it really happened. Whether it's an intimate half day or a full celebration, every gallery is made to feel honest, artful, and unmistakably yours.

From a tide line at sunrise to a beautiful venue booked just for you, an elopement here gets the whole Sunshine Coast as its backdrop. I'm part photographer, part location scout: tide tables, ferry schedules, where the light goes late in the day. Bring each other. The gallery will feel like the two of you, somewhere beautiful.
Half days from $3,600 · Tiny ceremonies by the hour, from $750
The best moments of a wedding day are rarely on a shot list. I watch for the in-betweens, the glances, the almost-missed, because those are the photographs you'll hold onto longest.
Weddings run on nerves, so I bring the opposite. I arrive early, stay steady, and hold my calm through rain and timeline changes alike, because one of us should.
Candid doesn't mean pointing a camera and hoping. The light is checked, the background is clean, the frame is already composed, and then the moment walks into it. Nothing staged, nothing sloppy: the craft is invisible, and it's everywhere.
These photographs have a long job ahead of them. I edit for the version of you looking back in thirty years, not for whatever's trending this season.
